For guests
When a short-term rental features Green Short Stay facts, it means the owner's claims were checked against photo and document evidence by a person — not just written into the listing description. Here's what that means for the stay you choose.
What it means for your stay
Plenty of listings say they're green. Few can show what's actually behind it. A Green Short Stay review is the difference between a marketing line and specific claims examined against photo and document evidence.
Every answer the owner submitted was reviewed against photos and documents by a person. "Eco-friendly" in a listing is a promise — a fact featured from a Green Short Stay review is something that was actually looked at.
Instead of one overall grade, you see the particular things that were checked — the specific fixtures, practices and equipment in place — so you know exactly what you're getting, not just how it stacks up against a general average.
Paying for a review doesn't guarantee a positive outcome. What gets featured on a listing is only what the evidence actually supported — nothing is published just because the owner paid for the check.
We recommend a fresh review roughly every 24 months. Practices drift and equipment ages, so old facts aren't quietly left up to imply nothing has changed.
A better stay, in three ways
Breathable bedding, gentler laundry products, reliable temperatures and comfortable water systems create a stay that feels as considered as it is responsible.
Efficient energy and water use, less plastic and better waste handling reduce the impact of every night without asking guests to give up comfort.
Local recommendations, low-impact transport and respect for shared resources help tourism support neighbourhood life rather than displace it.
