For hosts

The sustainable things you already do deserve to be seen.

Green Short Stay turns your everyday choices into an independently checked report that conscious, careful guests can trust — and book with confidence.

Why hosts get reviewed

Stand out in a crowded listing feed

More travellers look for stays that take care of the place they visit. Give them a clear reason to pick yours.

Proof, not promises

Every item is checked by a person against fixed criteria. Guests see facts — not a host's own claims.

One report, multiple ways to share

Your report lives at its own short address. Share it on your website, in guest communications or in your welcome book. Use it in platforms, where external links are permitted.

Lower running costs

The same choices that impress guests — efficient heating, low-flow fittings, refills — cut monthly bills.

Better reviews

Natural linens, local tips and thoughtful details are exactly what guests mention in five-star reviews.

Simple and one-off

One fee covers 24 months. No subscription, no lock-in, and the first resubmission within 30 days is free.

Free report

Your free report shows where you stand

The free assessment gives you a report of your own: where your property already stands across the six areas, and which changes would make the biggest difference first. Use it to improve before you decide on a paid review.

Your score isn't an aspirational label — it's a private diagnostic. The higher it is, the further the property has gone across all six areas. The top range also demands a minimum in every section, so it can't be earned by excelling in one and coasting in another.

  • Below 50% of total

Early stage. Most sections need attention; the report highlights where to start for the biggest impact.

  • 50–69% of total

Solid baseline practices are in place. The report shows which sections would benefit most from further investment.

  • 70–84% of total

Above-average performance across most areas, with a few sections likely worth targeted improvement.

  • 85 - 100% of total

Comprehensive performance across the board, with no significant gaps in any single section.

How to read this page

'In place'
the property fully meets the highest standard Green Short Stay checks for on this item.
'Partially in place'
the property meets a reasonable baseline, but not the highest standard we check for. This still reflects a real, evidence-backed improvement over having nothing in place — it simply isn't the top level.
'Not in place'
either nothing has been done for this item, or evidence wasn't provided to support a higher answer.

Each item is checked against a fixed, published set of possible answers for that item — a property doesn't need 'In place' on every item to represent solid, genuine practices overall.
